So why keep Cas alive? And then at a distance? That sneaky-Zeke’s up to something.

So here’s my idea for where to leave off mid-season:

Crowley escapes at some point. The boys figure out they have to get to Heaven and PLAN on dying.One of Team Free Will is designated to do the others in—let’s say Sam. It’ll be hard as hell, but he has to kill Cas (and Dean as backup, knowing they’ll get revived).

Then something goes wrong. Sam dies and he’s like, “Whatever, guess I’m going to Heaven, too.”

But Crowley’s there and is like “You think after killing two people who were heaven-bound’s going to get you on the pearly-white train? Nuh-uh. You’re headed in a different direction, Moose.”

BOOM. Mid-season finale.

Spend half the rest of the season with adventures in Heaven and Hell.

In Heaven, Cas and Dean dodge Metatron’s stooges. Cas has some home-advantage, but he’ll be thrown off because he’s human. But it will be them traveling around through different Heavens… and picking up the old crew. Bobby, Ellen, Jo, Ash, Missouri—having a freaking BLAST.

Meanwhile, Sammy’s got to get out of Hell somehow. I’d like him to team up with Crowley against Abaddon, or maybe Gabriel will pop in (because shut up I say he’s not dead!!). Or Sammy could just escape on his own because, hello, he knows how to get to Purgatory from there and AIN’T NO GRAVE GONNA HOLD HIS BODY DOWN.

And Sammy will escape just as Dean and Cas get revived (and Cas has his grace back).

Or maybe Sammy goes to Heaven with them. That could also work out. In any case, it’d be a wasted opportunity for them not to go to Heaven for a few episodes and get to reconnect with everyone. I mean I know you can’t just bring them all back to life (because the show still needs consequences) but it’d be like a highlight reel of the Winchester life.

I dunno. Thoughts?
